Earth Hour 2012

And, in the fine tradition of the UN IPCC who started it all off so long ago, and like “Global Warming” science itself, when all else fails – just fake it!!! (turn down the brightness level on the image taken later on during Earth Hour when only the government floodlights were turned off – DURH!)

Or show video of Government edifaces turning their floodlights off and claim the whole city was doing the same – boring.

  1. Hi Grant,
Like a lot of other people we celebrated “Human Achievement Hour” , I went around and put every light on, outside lights as well, for the hour.

You really have to laugh, some of our neighbours in our street usually leave their outside lights on all night 7 night a week, Earth Hour hits and all their lights are out, when the hour was up the lights all came back on and yep the outside light again was left on all night. 😆

    • sorry Mags – better late than never

      • Thank You Grant, I had a feeling you may of missed it.
A very Happy Easter to you and your family. 🙂

  2. Grant is there a reason why you didn’t allow my comment through? 😦

  3. Earth Hour 2009 was from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time, March 28, 2009. 88 countries and 4,088 cities participated in Earth Hour 2009, ten times more cities than Earth Hour 2008 had (2008 saw 400 cities participate). One billion “votes” was the stated aim for Earth Hour 2009, in the context of the pivotal 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference.’
