“Carbon dioxide absorbs infra-red radiation at a fixed rate. For each doubling of CO2 levels you get roughly 1°C of warming. But the Earth is warming up faster than that because the climate system has lots of feedback loops. The warming due to the carbon dioxide influences other things, such as the amount of water vapour and the number and type of clouds; those can lead to further warming, or to countervailing cooling. Add in all these effects and the amount of warming expected for a doubling of carbon dioxide—a figure known as climate sensitivity—will be more than that 1°C.”

WRONG – Carbon dioxide does NOT adsorb infrared radiation at a fixed rate! Each doubling of CO2 levels produces less and less warming – logarithmically less!http://knowledgedrift.wordpress.com/2011/09/07/co2-is-logarithmic-explained-3/

WRONG – The Earth is NOT warming up faster than that. The warming of the Earth is entirely within the range of normal natural varability and is less than one degree and stopped well over a decade ago.

WRONG – There is NO evidence that the Earth’s temperature is unstable. The global temperature is remarkably stable and self regulating. There is no science behind the positive feedback of global humidity claim – it is an assumption. An assumption used to generate significant warming in computer models from an insignificant trivial trace gas.
